Status Update

Alright, so here we are, 2 weeks after launch, and I know many people are having troubles with logging in.

The majority of people having troubles are using Internet Explorer. I would highly recommend those of you that you try an alternative browser, like FireFox or Opera.

However, if you can't try an alternative browers, and you are still having troubles, try the following steps.

  1. Clear your browser's cookies. It is found in the preferences or options menu.
  2. Go to the main forum. http://crossandflame.com/forum
  3. Click on the login link.
  4. It will redirect you. Enter in your login info and click submit.
  5. You should then appear back in the Forum. It should say "Welcome [username]" in the upper right hand corner.
  6. Click on any page. Check to see if you are still logged in.

Let me know which of these numbers is where your problem is by emailing it to admin@crossandflame.com. I will respond within 24 hours to figure things out!

  1. First, you have the same forum name as before! You can login with the same forum username as before, it works both in the forum and in the big site. Just one password to remember!
  2. Second, you now can start special interest groups! What is your cause, your passion? Start up a group and find like-minded people to join it up. In those groups, you can blog, write wiki entries (called databases here), and just submit stories relevant to those groups. Wow!
